The training of 2018 starts in November and ends in March 2019. The application will be on this website on October 1st!
Application period for the training is 1.-31.10.2018.
You can apply by filling this document (on this website on October 1st) and attaching your CV to the application. All applicants will be interviewed: you’ll be able to choose most suitable interview time on the application.
We’ll inform all applicants about the selections November 16th at the latest.
The kick-off camp of the training will be on Friday November 23rd, approximately from 9-17. NB! The training is compulsory. Only students who have completed the Camp can start the training.

What is included?
The focus of the training is on a genuine client project, executed in multidisciplinary and international teams of 3-5 students. The clients of the training represent the local business, NGOs and public organisations.
The project can include e.g. event planning and management, developing marketing, communication or logistics, or product development. The results of the project can include development plans, reports, demos or events. Part of the projects are in English.
The training includes three training days for all students, and other meetings.
It is important the students participate in the meetings, they support the succesful execution of the project. The training begins on the Kick-off Camp. Only students completing the kick-off Camp can begin in the training. For other training days, compensating work can be agreed with the coaches in case of absence. The joint meetings are primarily in English.
Duration of training and the work load
The Project Aces training is carried out during ca. 3 months. The estimated duration per student is 135 hours over the given period. Participation in the training and in the development assignment project does not require full-time commitment; it can be done along with other studies. Still, students should keep in mind that the project work must be reserved enough time.
Who can participate?
The training is aimed at undergraduate and master level students of the higher education institutions of Turku, and for recent graduates. For undergraduates, two years of succesful studies is recommended. Also foreign degree students and exchange students are welcome, if they are in Turku during the time span of the training.
The extent of the training is 5 ETCS credits / 135 hours. The Project Aces training grants the students a certificate after they have completed the training.
NB! Students should separately apply for the credits to be included in their study register from the university / faculty / subject. The students are responsible for applying for the accreditation and the students own faculty/study programme/subject grants the credits.
